At each age, children are exposed to stimulating learning opportunities. They also develop independence, learn how to socialize, learn respect for each other and the world around them. Physical activities, play, music, dance, language and creativity are a daily occurrence.
To help children learn, grow and achieve we assist parents in building healthy eating habits. We include nutritionally balanced meals and snacks that are also delicious, prepared and served on the premises in a dedicated kitchen.
The care and well-being of children is a responsibility we take seriously. Staff are thoroughly vetted to ensure they possess the experience, interests and qualifications to meet our standards of excellence.
Learn more about our people
Our popular Family Appreciation Day (FAD) brings the AVMS family together – teachers, students and families – for a fun-filled annual outing. To encourage cultural diversity, we recognize different customs throughout the year. We host a Mother’s Day breakfast and Valentine’s Day celebration inviting families into our classrooms. Parents will often attend school to share time and knowledge with children, whether to speak about their job, participate in storytelling, or join a classroom during Montessori week to quietly observe.
