Angus Valley: A Unique Choice Rooted in History, Growth, and Exploration
“Angus” is a Celtic word meaning ‘one choice’, chosen to reflect our goal to become parents’ premier choice for early learning. “Valley” reflects Montessori teachings’ focus on nature, which encourages children to understand and engage with the world that surrounds them.
This experience helps them develop an appreciation for the natural environment and grow to become respectful caretakers and stewards of the earth. “Angus Valley” creates a strong connection to both the land and the location of the first school located in Angus Glen Community, Markham, Ontario.
Our registered trademark “Learn Grow Achieve” signifies the following: Humans are born to learn and will do so throughout their lives. We offer a caring and supportive environment to nurture and stimulate this natural inclination. We will encourage their development by introducing learning opportunities. Enriching each child’s natural abilities and talents daily. Children will explore their world and expand their developing faculties and abilities. We will encourage them to make choices for themselves and to accomplish tasks independently.
