our programs
We offer care, nurturing and learning through programs aimed at your child’s needs and abilities. Our programs are based on the work of female physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori who, through her research and studies, helped to change the course of education. Montessori recognizes that children learn in many ways and at their own pace. We use a customized curriculum, designed for each age group within the school.
Infants are born ready to learn, and they develop emotionally, physically and intellectually in leaps and bounds during their important first year. We help to maximize their potential through stimulation.

Children in Casa have tremendous abilities to learn and absorb. Montessori activities are introduced to stimulate intellect, enhance the child’s focus, concentration, task organization and cognitive order.

- Introduction to the concepts of quantity, numeracy, sequencing and mathematical operations
- Teaching includes history, geography, and life sciences
- Music, art, physical education and spatial movement are part of the integrated cultural and sports program
Our before and after school program is designed for elementary school children. We offer homework support and tutoring with programming that ensures academic-linked activities are fun and engaging while aligned with their regular school curriculum.

We offer all-ages day camp programs in the summer months as well as March break and December. Enrolled AVMS students respond well to remaining in familiar surroundings, with consistent menu choices and many staff from the school year. Our camps also welcome children who are not AVMS students and they learn to play the Montessori way!

Our field trips are fun and educational helping children to experience more of the world around them.
- Destinations may include: a farm, museum, grocery store, golf club, cooking classes and indoor playgrounds
