The team at AVM Pickering is comprised of a two-partner team along with an array of certified educators, dedicated to serving Pickering and surrounding areas.

KUMARAN RATNASAMY AND VIJAY VIMALANATHAN, OWNERS

Kumaran and Vijay passionately believe that young children who are introduced to learning opportunities at an early age are set-up for a bright future. As working parents, they also understand the importance of having safe, reliable, and nurturing childcare. The partners are excited by the opportunity to own and operate a tried and tested Montessori-based learning centre in a custom-built school in a wonderful new neighbourhood in Pickering.

ANU WIJESEKERA, SUPERVISOR

An enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator, Anu has twenty years of specialization in Early Childhood Education and the Montessori Method. She was the Head Teacher at flagship school, Angus Glen Montessori, in Markham and joined the Pickering location as Supervisor for the opening. Anu brings her extensive experience and a friendly and professional demeanour to this role. She has an exceptional ability to work in a diverse environment – understanding the sensitivity and needs of families and children.
