The team at AVM Vaughan is comprised of a brother-sister team along with an array of certified educators, dedicated to serving Maple, Vaughan and surrounding areas.
Owners and operators, the Zaidi family defines AVM Vaughan as a business run for families, by family. Graduates of a Montessori education themselves, siblings Bilal and Aleena recognize the value this learning style had in preparing them for primary school as well as teaching them lifelong skills. As a result, they are passionate about Montessori. In our home, education and lifelong learning are heavily emphasized. Bringing this start to classrooms of young children is our way of serving our community,” said Bilal Zaidi, Operator.
Fahareen is a qualified Montessori Educator who has spent her career teaching and nurturing children in a Montessori environment. She joins the AVM Vaughan team with 18 years experience as a Supervisor. In her own words,
“I believe that children thrive when given a positive learning environment that welcomes exploration and discovery and enhances confidence. An educator’s mission should be to make school enjoyable and exciting – if students look forward to attending school they will want to learn.”
The parent of two, who both attended Montessori school from the age of 12 months, Fahareen knows firsthand the advantages young children receive in this type of early learning environment. She is thrilled to be bringing this opportunity to a new generation of infants and pre-schoolers in a beautiful and purpose-built education centre.
