Silvia dos Santos is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with a lifelong passion for working with children. Opening this Montessori school represents the realization of her long-held vision: to create a calm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to grow.
The centre is licensed for up to 100 children, though it intentionally operates below capacity to ensure a high-quality experience, greater comfort, and meaningful individual attention for each child. It also provides hot, nutritious meals, reflecting a strong belief that healthy bodies are essential for developing strong, capable minds.
Silvia believes that every child learns in their own unique way. She recognizes that traditional education systems do not always accommodate these differences, which can lead to children being labeled rather than truly understood. At her centre, she takes an observation-based approach, focusing on each child’s individual needs and supporting them within a peaceful, supportive environment. As part of this philosophy, children’s yoga is thoughtfully incorporated into the curriculum, helping children build emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence.
Her mission is simple: to create a space where children are genuinely supported and understood, and where they are given every opportunity to thrive emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
Adelia brings over 30 years of experience in management, accounting, and financial control, along with a genuine love for caring for others. At the heart of everything she does is family—especially her four grandchildren, who mean the world to her. She cherishes every moment spent with them, thoughtfully planning activities and small adventures that inspire curiosity, independence, and joy.
These meaningful experiences have shaped her deep appreciation for the importance of a calm, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. At Angus Valley Montessori, Adelia is dedicated to creating a space rooted in Montessori principles—where each child is respected as an individual, encouraged to explore at their own pace, and supported in building confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
Her goal is to ensure every child feels at home, while giving parents complete peace of mind.

Her passion for early childhood education is rooted in her belief that every child deserves a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
As a mother, Sara brings a deep personal understanding of the importance of fostering a child’s confidence, curiosity, and sense of belonging. This perspective strengthens her commitment to creating calm, respectful, and well-prepared environments where children feel safe, valued, and empowered.
She takes pride in cultivating engaging learning spaces that support independence, well-being, and a lifelong love of learning—values that closely align with the Montessori philosophy. Sara is excited to bring her experience, leadership, and passion for early learning to Angus Valley Montessori.
