NIKKI AND VISHAL GUPTA, OWNERS

Franchisees Nikki and Vishal Gupta feel strongly about providing parents both peace-of-mind and a top-quality early learning experience for their children. Nikki and Vishal are parents of two girls under 6 years and empathize with families searching for childcare. “Our approach is quite simple: we know what we want and will accept for our daughters, this is how we’ll run our new preschool,” says Vishal. When deciding on childcare for their family, the Guptas chose a neighbourhood preschool offering Montessori programs, where they have seen their girls thrive and be happy to learn.

HALA SHAWKY, SUPERVISOR

Hala is a highly qualified Montessori educator with over 13 years of experience. She has exceptional leadership skills, and deep knowledge of all areas of the Montessori program. Prior to joining the Uptown team, Hala was a head teacher at Angus Glen Montessori School in Markham. She thrives on providing AVM Uptown students with a unique learning experience and enjoys working closely with the team to reach this goal. Hala also enjoys getting to know the parents and establishing a partnership between them and the school. She is committed to creating a safe and stimulating early learning environment for children, as well as a rewarding work environment for AVM Uptown’s Educators. Hala is the proud parent of a hardworking pharmacy student and a lovely teenage girl.

Our team of qualified RECE, ECA's and Montessori Educators have come together as a family since we opened. We are grateful for their caring, professional, fun-loving natures and all that they bring to AVM Uptown each day. We receive new enrolments every week and are always looking to add to our amazing team.
