The team at AVM Kleinburg is comprised of a mother-and-son duo along with an array of certified Educators, dedicated to serving Kleinburg and surrounding areas.
Shaheena Nasir is the franchisee of AVM Kleinburg. She is a proud mother of three children (all of which have been Montessori schooled). Shaheena has been a Montessori teacher for the last 15 years and graduated from the Toronto Montessori Institute (TMI). She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has worked at three different Montessori programs in the York Region throughout her career. She is passionate about children and feels a sense of accomplishment after she presents material to each child, and they can complete it successfully.
Her husband always told her to open her own school, and now this dream has become a reality where today, she runs the school together with her son Hussain, who holds a master’s degree in accounting.
With over 18 years of experience in education, Gameli is deeply committed to fostering growth, curiosity, and confidence in every child. Her philosophy centers on nurturing the whole child—encouraging independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning within an environment of respect and care.
She believes that when children feel valued and supported, they discover their unique strengths and flourish not only academically but also as compassionate individuals.
